VTG Silver Plated Trinket Box
Vintage sterling silver plated trinket box. Engraved with cherubs on top and floral design all over. Red velvet padded interior. Produced in Tokyo, Japanese circa 1940s. Small sailboat with Y marking on the bottom leads me to believe this is made by Yamatogumi, an early traditional Japanese silver plate producer. This is tarnish protected metal, do not use a silver polish. To clean, use a damp soft cloth to remove residue and restore shine. 3.5 L x 2.5 H x 2.5 W.
